Arileo Steakhouse and Bar

I have blogged about Arileo Steakhouse and Bar before but after a couple of more visits I felt another blog was warranted.

First, most people have difficulty in remembering Arileo’s name so I thought I would help with that. Arileo is named after the owner’s two children, Ari and Leo. Once you know that you will never have difficulty remembering the name again.

We went to a fund raising event at Arileo last week-end for HIV/AIDS for 185 people with a set menu and we all thought they did a great job.  The food was excellent which is unusual at a this type of event, the service was excellent and the place looked beautiful.  I had the champagne chicken and a lovely salad. Every detail was attended to with great care the the event was a huge success.

Also Monday I went to Arileo with some of my girlfriends and we had a marvelous meal.  We had vacio, fried chicken, Caesar salad, Caprese Salads and a shared Banana Cream Pie for dessert. Also they offer wonderful coffees such at Mexican, Spanish and Irish. Decaf, of course.

Also on  the menu is fish, pizza, pork and many other delightful entrees, appetizers (a popular fvorite is the fried Provolone and peppers) and salads. Arileo offer lunch specials and the prices are very reasonable.

The waiters are terrific and the wine cellar is very comprehensive.

You can go to their facebook page, Arileo Steakhouse and Bar, and find out the menus for the daily specials.

The vacio, by the way, is reminiscent of Ajijic Tango’s Flap Meat entree and is delicious.

Arileo is located on the Carretera Chapala-Jocotepec  #1088 just past the overhead Jocotepec sign.  Their phone number for reservations is (376) 106 1627.

I suggest you go to Arileo for a meal to enjoy this relatively new addition to our already exciting restaurant scene.

Buen Provecho!
