Unfortunately, we have lost our wonderful French chef, Laurent. Laurent has moved to Argentina to a five star restaurant as the head chef and we are, of course, very pleased for him and his family but very sad for ourselves.
The good news is that Café Adelita is up and running after renovations and is flourishing. Café Adelita is perhaps more casual dining but the food is very good and meticulously prepared by Chef Shea.
The other attraction of Café Adelita is the live music Thursday through Sunday. Bryan James plays Thursday, The Regrets with Jason Taylor play Friday, the Lucky Dogs play Saturday and the Blue Jay Slims play Sunday. All groups are great for dancing so put on your dancing shoes because you will want to dance.

Tuesday the excellent ribs are half price with home-cut fries and cole slaw.
Wednesday is Seafood with lobster, crab cakes and other delicacies.
Thursday 2 x 1 margaritas are offered.
Friday Chef Shea presents his succulent menu choices.
Sunday is Blues BBQ day.
The hours for Café Adelita are Tuesday – Saturday 5:00 pm – 11:00 pm Sunday 12 noon – 9:00 pm Mondays they are closed.
You will appreciate the atmosphere of good food and good times and the wonderfully friendly and efficient staff. There is also a pool table for your enjoyment.
Café Adelita is located in San Antonio Tlayacapan beside the church. You take the street going down towards the lake beside Mail Boxes Etc. and turn right at the church then turn left at the first street and you are there.
San Antonio Tlayacapan is just east of Ajijic, Lake Chapala.
