Gosha’s Mexican Panera Restaurant

Last night a friend of mine and I tried Gosha’s of which we had heard many good things.
Unfortunately, they are closed for May but will reopen at the beginning of June.
They have a varied menu of meat dishes, chicken dishes, seafood dishes with a selection of appetizers and dessert.
Appetizers consist of Guacamole prepared at your table. Labne which is Greek yogurt, olive oil, green olives and pita chips for dipping and Mexican Empanadas which are four pieces stuffed with meat and vegetables, served with tomato salsa, pickled red onion or cabbage.
Soups are soup of the day or Cream of Zucchini.
Salads are Caesar prepared at your table, Strawberry Blue Cheese Salad, Greek Salad, Apple Cranberry Salad with almonds and Beet Salad. You have the option of adding Chicken or Shrimp to any of your salad selections.
Under Meat they have: Beef Filet Gorgonzola 300 gr., Filet Mignon with a mushroom and red wine sauce, Beef Filet Kabob served with rice and coleslaw, Arrachera served with rice, Hamburger 200 gr. sirloin, Yucatan Style Baby Back Ribs served with fries and coleslaw and Hawaiian Pork Chop with pineapple served with mashed potatoes.
Under Chicken they have: Chicken Kabob served with rice ad coleslaw, Chicken Parmigiana served with pasta and Chicken Oscar served with Hollandaise, crab meat and served with rice and asparagus.
Under Seafood they have: Shrimp Mac and Cheese, Shrimp Fettuccini Alfredo, Shrimp Linguini in creamy mushroom sauce, Shrimp Kabob served with rice, Pico de Gallo and avocado, Tuna Salad, Gosha’s Fried Salmon served with rice and asparagus, Crispy Salmon served over new potato and chive salad with roasted cherry tomatoes and Lobster Tail grilled with garlic and butter and served with asparagus and potato wedges.
The prices vary in the entree category from $130.00 to $220.00 pesos with a different price for the Lobster.
Drinks are coffee, tea, iced tea, lemonade, cucumber lemonade and soft drinks,water, and mineral water, Cappuccino, Latte, Bohemia beer and red and white wine.
Last night they had two desserts which was chocolate cake and a highly touted Creme Bruillee.
Gosha’s also have daily specials.
Gosha’s is located on the Carretera Oriente #24 just east of Bruno’s Restaurant and their phone # is (376) 766-2121.
Normally, their hours are from 8 am to 3:00 pm and from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
They also do catering.
It is located in a pretty garden with trees and fans and is very pleasant and the waiters and polite and attentive.
There are so many things on the menu we would like to try so definitely will return when they reopen in June
