Kim and Glen – A Great Team at Number FOUR

Yesterday Kim Everest owner of Number FOUR Restaurant did a very special wine tasting late lunch event in honor of Trino who is a celebrity living in Chapala. Evidently, Aero Mexico is doing an article on him for their premiere inflight magazine which will be in planes for one month. Trino will be outlining his likes in and around lakeside and Guadalajara and his favorite restaurant is Number FOUR. Kim planned a fabulous 6 course lunch with 6 wine pairings to entertain some of her best clients and the writers and photographers from Aero Mexico. There was also live music and the restaurant was filled to the rafters.

We all started off with delicious sangria. That was followed by seared tuna with a savory watermelon salad paired with a light Zinfandel.

The next course was sticky duck breast with spinach and mashed potatoes and an always flavorful Shiraz.

Our next course was a beef short rib which fell off the bone paired with a Carmenere.

Next was pargo or huachinango beautifully served with a rich Pinot Noir.

My husband was thrilled that our next course was a creamy risotto with a crisp Pinot Grigio.

Finally, a beautiful succulent bread pudding with caramel and fresh fruit paired with a fruity moscato.

Noe and his band played delightful music for us.

The service was fantastic and the food, thanks to Chef Glenroy, was superb and the wines delicious.

It was a lovely afternoon in a beautiful restaurant and what is better than great food and wine enjoyed with great friends?

It is also a great boost for our beloved lakeside area that we are going to be featured this way for thousands of travelers on Aero Mexico.

Thank you Kim and Glen.
