Number FOUR Closes it's Doors September 2nd, 2014
One of Ajijic’s best restaurants is closing it’s doors September 2nd, 2014 which saddens manyAjijic residents.
The name of this restaurant is Number FOUR and I was lucky enough to be at the opening May 31st, 2008.
Number FOUR is a high end restaurant that has had many wonderful chefs over the years including Glenroy Anderson and Toronto’s sweetheart and spice genius, Greg Couillard.
Kim Everest is the owner of Number FOUR and will be opening a restaurant in Toronto, Canada called “Cuatro” which will be a Mexican restaurant.
Until closing Number FOUR will be open Friday to Tuesday with live music on Fridays, Saturdays, Mondays and Tuesays.
New chefs Randal Harrison and Liliana Ojeda Martinez will be cooking up Number FOUR’s renowned top-notch food.
The team of Toronto natives that put Nuber FOUR on the map in Ajijic, Kim Everest, and chefs Glenroy Anderson and Greg Couillard will be returning to their home city to open a traditional Mexican cuisine hot-spot called Cuatro. They plan to serve many of the innovative fusion dishes that were so popular in Ajijic.
Also joining them will be Mexican chef Liliana Ojeda, bartender Danny Garcia and floor manager and kitchen prep whiz, Julio Ramirez to Canada to add authenticity and maintain the thread of magic they created at Number FOUR.
Kim wants her loyal clientele that she is working hard to bring a great new restaurant from Guadalajara to take over the location.
Anyone local that may be interested in talking to Kim about the restaurant location now would be the time.
Tuesday nights at FOUR will feature Galen on the piano, vocals by Kimmie Everest and guests, August 12th, 19th, 26th and the final night September 2nd. Band starts at 7:00 pm for dinner dancing with a cover of $50.00 pesos. For reservations please call (376) 766-1360. Located at Donato Guerra #4 in Ajijic.
