S&S Auto is a wonderful company that services car and motorcycle owners lakeside in many ways.

I admit we perhaps are prejudiced because we have been friends with the owner, Spencer Shulman, and his wife, Karen Herrtwich, the entire almost 19 years that we have been here in Ajijic, Lake Chapala. We have bought a car from S&S, rented cars from S&S, have our vehicles insured by S&S. We have always enjoyed the personal and professional service we have received and will continue dealing with this company and their efficient office staff, Mariana and Lorena.

We have always liked having our insurance with S&S because if you do need them it is nice to have your contact lakeside rather than coming out from Guadalajara.

Their prices for all services are very competitive and they officially deal with Automobile Sales, Motorcycle Sales, Insurance, Storage and Rentals.

They also do some unofficial services for clients such as obtaining tenencias (registrations) and transfers of ownership. The fees for these services are minimal and worth every penny particularly if you are not proficient in Spanish. You take the necessary papers to them (they tell you what you need) pay the fee and your papers are ready for you in a couple of days.

I think the best thing about S&S Auto is the personal service. Spencer will go with you to Guadalajara to make sure you find the exact right vehicle for you at the right price and will continue to assist you in servicing that vehicle.

S&S Auto also sells used cars in all price ranges and Spencer will let you know if he has found something that you have been looking for. Spencer has a very good work ethic and it is nice to do business with a company that you can trust implicitly with any transaction.

S&S has made our lives considerably easier and I am sure they will do the same for you.
